With almost 7,700 qualified speech and language therapists working in the NHS in England most people don’t realise the importance of their job in a patients recovery process and exactly what speech therapists do. Phoebe Hutchings talks to Beatrice Brennan a South London speech therapist for adults with brain injuries about some of the things people don’t know about speech therapy.
